Timeless style and high functionality were key considerations in the design process of this kitchen. A crisp white finish was chosen to beautifully contrast with the mid-tone oak flooring, creating a warm yet bright atmosphere. The quartz countertop has a striking look, with bold black veining that becomes the focal point, on the island and the full-height backsplash. The island waterfall grounds the space, and the veining seamlessly spills over from the surface to the side. The additional island workspace serves, as an informal dining area and perfect entertaining. Integrated appliances were chosen to both hide and expose their best features; with panel ready doors on the French Door fridge to the practical stainless steel chimney hood and microwave drawer that are both easily accessible. A built-in oven under an Induction cooktop is always a win, allowing for more storage space. Large windows are always a welcomed feature if space allows, giving ample natural light. This kitchen is a great example of how smart design in a smaller space can achieve both style and practicality and be as enjoyable to look at as it is to cook in.
